In 1924, Rube Hoffman founded Hoffman California Fabrics, selling wool flannels to California department stores and clothing manufacturers.
Robert Kaufman also employs a large family of talented signature artists that supply innovative exclusive collections to the line.
Robert Kaufman’s sons are still involved in the business their father began along with their sons and cousins.
In the 1980’s the company began to market fabric for the growing quilting community.
